Kasko Mak Branded EG4 Carbon Brushes

Overview

Kasko Mak Branded EG4 Carbon Brushes are electrographite (electrographitised) brushes produced for the sliding contact of DC machines, slip-ring motors and exciters. The EG4 grade combines low contact resistance with a low friction coefficient, giving stable commutation, low commutator and slip-ring wear, and long service life under continuous industrial duty.

Featured Size

EG4 25 x 32 x 40 mm — 25 mm thickness (in the direction of rotation) x 32 mm width (along the shaft axis) x 40 mm radial height, supplied with twin flexible copper shunts and a forked contact terminal as shown. Other sizes are produced to order.

Construction & Terminals

• Homogeneous electrographitised carbon body, machined to size and chamfered
• Single or twin flexible copper shunts, tamped and secured in the brush body
• Terminal options: forked, ring, flat blade, or bare shunt end
• Optional top rubber cushion, contact shoe, or radial / bevelled contact face
