Special Manholes

High quality Special Manholes designed for customized drainage, sewer, and utility infrastructure requirements, offering high load capacity, durability, and compliance with European standards.
Overview
Special Manholes are engineered access chambers developed to meet non-standard or project-specific requirements in drainage, sewer, and underground utility systems. They are designed for locations where conventional manholes are insufficient due to depth variations, load conditions, layout complexity, or special functional needs.
Standards & Compliance
Special Manholes are manufactured in accordance with EN 476 and EN 752-1 standards. According to EN 752-1, a manhole is defined as a chamber with a removable cover on a drain or sewer that permits personnel entry for inspection, maintenance, and operational purposes.
Load Classification
- C250: Load rating up to 25 tonnes, suitable for pavements, pedestrian areas, and parking zones
- D400: Heavy-duty load rating up to 40 tonnes, designed for roads, highways, and heavy traffic areas
Applications
- Drainage and sewer systems
- Inspection chambers
- Structures for overcoming height differences
- Intersection and junction chambers
- Storm water overflow works
- Street-type drainage (infall works)
- Outfall structures
- Valve and utility chambers
Design Features
- Custom geometries and dimensions based on project requirements
