Manufacturing
- Manufactured by the seamless process
- Supplied either hot finished or cold finished, as specified in the order
Heat Treatment
- Heat treatment performed separately and in addition to heating for hot forming
- Ferritic alloy steels reheated as required
- Austenitic stainless steel tubes supplied in heat-treated condition where applicable
- After hot forming, rapid cooling or quenching may be applied as permitted by specification
Testing & Inspection
- Tension test
- Hardness test
- Flattening test
- Flaring test
- Each tube subjected to non-destructive electric testing or hydrostatic testing
