Overview

API 5L X70 PSL 1 pipe is manufactured in accordance with American Petroleum Institute specifications and supplied in seamless and electric welded forms. Products are available in black and galvanized finishes and sourced from API-certified manufacturers, with large OD used steel pipe referenced as a specialty.

  • Nickel: max 0.50%
  • Chromium: max 0.50%
  • Molybdenum: max 0.15%
  • For each 0.01% reduction below the maximum carbon content, manganese may be increased by 0.05% up to a maximum of 1.65%
  • Sum of niobium and vanadium ≤ 0.06%
  • Sum of niobium, vanadium, and titanium ≤ 0.15%
