Drum & Container Pump
Drum and container pumps are designed for the safe and efficient transfer of liquids from drums, barrels, tanks, and IBC containers. They provide an easy solution for handling fluids that are too heavy or impractical to empty manually.
Overview
Drum and container pumps are used to empty or transfer liquids from barrels, drums, tanks, and intermediate bulk containers (IBCs). These pumps are commonly used in industrial environments where liquids are supplied in large containers that cannot be tipped or poured safely.
Operating Principle
Electrically operated drum pumps are inserted through the top opening of a drum using a narrow pump tube. Inside the tube, a vertical shaft driven by an AC or DC electric motor transfers the liquid from the container to the discharge outlet.
