Overview

ANSI API globe valves are widely used for throttling and flow control applications. Their design allows accurate regulation of fluid flow and provides reliable shut-off, making them ideal for services where frequent operation and control are required.

Design & Operation

• Linear motion valve with a disc moving perpendicular to the seat
• Requires lower operating torque compared to gate valves
• BY-pass valves can be installed to reduce differential pressure during opening and closing
• Provides good sealing performance and controlled flow characteristics

Materials & Construction

• Available in carbon steel and stainless steel constructions
• Seat can be hard-faced with Stellite to extend service life and reduce wear
• Robust body design suitable for demanding industrial conditions

• Pressure classes: Class 150 to Class 2500 (LBS)
• Operating temperature range: approximately -25 °C to +425 °C
